“Some stories don't end. They just go quiet for a while.”
Best experienced with headphones. Maybe.
There's just one tiny problem.
So technically, this entire website is completely unnecessary.
But then again... so are half the things we do when we really care about someone.
I can't point to one exact second when it happened.
Maybe it was a conversation. Maybe it was the little things. Maybe it was simply you being you.
“Some people arrive quietly and somehow become loud inside your head.”
And apparently there was no uninstall button.
“Yeah. It got that bad.”
And then somehow, the conversations became silence.
No ghosts were harmed in the making of this website. My sanity, however...
I could joke about it. I could pretend I didn't care. I could act completely unbothered.
But honestly, I cared more than I wanted to admit.
“Being ignored by someone you wanted to hear from hits differently.”
And yeah... I probably didn't handle everything perfectly either.
That's the annoying thing about memories.
They don't ask whether you're supposed to still care.
The conversations.
The little moments.
The feeling.
Somehow, those stayed.
I genuinely tried.
“Forget it.”
“Let it go.”
“It's over.”
“Stop thinking about her.”
My brain: move on.
My heart: absolutely not.
I've met people. I've talked to people. Life kept moving.
But whatever it was about you...
I felt it.
And I haven't been able to fake that feeling with someone else.
And I'm not going to write this story for you.
Maybe you don't feel the same. Maybe you never did. Maybe things got complicated in ways I don't understand.
That's okay.
“I can be honest about what I want without demanding that you want it too.”
Not because I'm stuck in the past.
Not because I can't meet someone else.
Because after everything, you're still the person my heart keeps choosing.
“And apparently my heart has terrible timing.”
Maybe one day we'll laugh about how dramatic all of this was.
Maybe you'll tell me I was completely delusional.
Maybe you'll finally stop ghosting me. 👀
Not my girlfriend.
Not right now, anyway. ❤️
